Question Focus RS.. mods?

Would a standard FRS (With BB) spit flame and pop on full chat gear changes..?

I presume it must be decatted..?

Er don't know who that's aimed at but FFS get your facts right before trying to troll..!

The Focus RS in question did not have a flamer kit on it, the pops and flash of blueish/yellow flame were genuine, not bunsen burner like..!

Adjust the map to make it overfuel on overrun, and have no cats in the way, you can make almost anything spit flame.

As for modding the RS, they mod up very well. I know someone who has a stripped, caged, engine mods, sorted suspension and brakes etc RS which competes in the combe saloons, would comfortably beat >90% of the modded scoobs on here round a track.

Best mod for a Focus RS?

Water temp gauge and an uprated water pump. Ford didnt fit a gauge and fitted a pump with plastic impeller blades.

Seems sensible for a tuned powerful turbo car...........................

No water temp gauge? Last car I saw that didn't have one was a 2CV Citroen
