Default Impressed by Renault dealers !?!?!?!

SHOCK HORROR - my local group of dealers is huge, and I use Renault to book my car in for a valet as it is next door to their valet bay. I have to say it was the smoothest transition ever. There was a job sheet waiting for me as I had pre-booked, a smiling helpful service receptionist. So I left her with the keys on Saturday - and 3pm Monday they actually called me ! and told me the car was ready for collection. So I paid for it over the phone and said I would collect the keys from a salesman - she actually gave me the name of the chap who would have them !!!!

On arrival my car was outside the showroom - it was dark so I couldn't tell how well valeted it was, but it was very clean.

So I went into the showroom, asked for this chap and I waited for less than a minuet when he came across - shook my hand and handed me a a folder with my keys and receipt in it, thanked me for my business and off I went.

What shocked me even more, is the car covered under 0.1 of a mile - so there hadn't been some spotty teenager ragging it around

Such a joyful pleasure, and on inspection this morning the car is mint, and with it having white interior [Fabia vRS] it is obvious it is a top job.

So I had to recommend these guys as they were excellent.

Gordon Lamb Renault
1 Discovery Way
Whittington Moor
Chesterfield
S41 9EG

Julie Biddle was service receptionist.
Adrian was Renault sales.

Oh and the full valet cost me £39.95 all in.

40 quid is good for a full valet. There is an independant valet place near me and they charge 80 quid for a full valet. Rip off.

That is too much - but I have payed that in the past at valet places, but when I found out that Gordon Lamb does it cheap I went there - but they have about 10 franchise in the area - so they don't need to make lots on the valeting, so I get mine done a couple or 3 times a year - gets rid of all the tar and the stuck on flies etc etc.....

You mean the Clio Trophy has some faults? Well I never.

edited to put this little lot in taken from the Trophy forum

"Nearside Sill Not Correctly seated
offside wing has been tightened up to much so is almost touching bonnet
Passengerr Seat does not fold back correctly
When the car was supplied cover of nearside seatbelt cover was missing
Fuel Cap Cover was pushed in slightly
My exausts are now drifting slightly to the left "

These aren't faults on different cars by the way, these are on one poor guys car. Taken from one of the most popular threads on the forum "Faults with your Trophy". Why oh why couldn't Renault build these cars properly?
