help me out
Just been offered a job with about an hours commute either way so I may looking for a new car, (as at the mo I drive 3 mins)
Looking for a diesel, it has to be small but accommodating (6ft 3) very economical, comfortable and fun
Looking at Fabia VRS but wonder about economy?
Any more thoughts, oh budget max 10k (used)

Personal opinion, I'd go for a Golf TDi.
I've owned 2, the 110bhp and the 130bhp versions, plenty of room (I'm 6ft 3 also), good engines and solid build quality.
Some people may prefer the Seat or Skoda equivalent, and at the end of the day I'm sure they're all made in near enough in the same factory, but personal opinion, on looks as well as performance I'd opt for the Golf.
10k should get you a nice one as well.
