Dreaded Crankwalk on the 4G63 turbo engines !!
Hey,
Has anybody come across this problem with the thrust bearing being worn away due to excessive force from the clutch and poor oil lubrication to the thrust face..??
I have this at the moment but I cannot seem to find a fix other than replace with OEM parts and hope it doesnt come back,, Chances are it will on a rebuild within a short space on time.
Can anybody shed some light on a cure??
The general feeling is that modified bearings with better oil distribution would help but as yet no one has tried it..
Cheers
Steve
