Default Urgent help please

Been getting a few prank calls now and am pissed off. Luckily they forgot the 141 before a call and I have the mobile number. Anyone know the network operator of 07799 numbers ?

Thanks

You can take phone numbers with you now when you leave an operator so in theory it could be any of them.

Call the number, it might click onto the answerphone and say something like welcome to the orange / o2 / vodafone voicemail.

Or call all of them, start with 02 then vodafone, then starting calling the rest...

Report it to who ever your phone operator is. Eg. BT. They are pretty hot on this sort of thing at BT. If it is NTL it might be quicker to change your phone line number.

Why not just give the number to the police, tell them the whole story and if the woman has a contract with a mobile company they will be able to track her and have a word. If they can be bothered of course. Plus, can't BT block certain numbers???? worth asking them.
