Default Lexus GS 430

Just had a go of one of these, brand new, my uncle works for Toyota as the VP of Finance so he gets any Toyota/Lexus product he fancies, quite a fast car, few of the local cruisers (Wilmslow) were out, saw some boys hoofing a silver Saxo about, they caught up with me on the duel carriageway, I was in the outside lane making progress past slower traffic and they were glued to the bumper, got to the next roundabout and it was clear so I went to the inside, let them get alongside and booted it, the traction control light lit up, it then went very quickly round to 90 or so leaving the howling Saxo behind.

Quite amusing but not a 'fun' car, i sort of appreciate autos (when stuck in traffic) but that isnt driving to me, I can only begin to imagine what the 500/600 bhp auto Mercs are like, I would hope you feel more in the way of control than in the Lexus.

Tried a GS300 when considering a GS430 in September, nice as an enema car, ride was too firm without the handling payoff. Very smoooooth. M3 was a better compromise for me, but still boring compared with a tuned Scooby.
