Great car, loved them in their day and considered buying one not long ago!
Not sure of the value, obviously depending on condition, but even if it is repairable it will be worth keeping / selling.
Check out www.autotrader.co.uk
There's a top notch 260 for 2,500 so offer to take it off his hands for fifty quid!

They are collectable, few and far between, good looking, not great perfomers in normal tune but fun and good looking cars, great 70's sport interior, nice layout and design for an old Jap car.
I would look at putting it on the road if not too bad nick, worth money for spares as well if not roadworthy as long as the condition not too bad.
I really like them and i would run one for sure.
There was a Samuri edition of it but i think it was the 260 not 240
I seem to remember coming across a 240/260 BBs sometime ago, worth a search.
It would be a shame to let it go to waste if it is salvageable or could keep another one on the road imho.

Yeah and me, it is a cool classic car as rare as rocking horse poo in the UK!
Be cheap to insure as well, unlikely to get knicked or vandalised either.
If you do not want it and decide to get rid of it i would be interested in it subject to seeing it of course.

If you need any help with it I'm sure Scoobynet would come to the rescue. Where abouts is the car as I'd love to see it as I wanted to get one for my Dad.
