Thats a T16!!! Dont see many of them - only 200 were made, and most were used for rallying and written off.
Only about 20 remaining in the world, with 1-2 in the UK.

205 T16 is my dream car. A few years back I used to track a few web sites that had the road going version for sale. Sadly I think they've all been mothballed by collectors now. Amazing you got one at the petrol station!

Pass the tissues somebody, I fancy 2nds!
Check this little 205. Its a slotcar (scalextric) of the Pikes Peak 205.
Only pic I can find at the moment. Theses are very rare and its taking some smooth talking to the misses to pay near £50 for a slot car.

My old girl nestled behind one on the way back from the ring last October. Had to make an un-planned detour to a garage in Liege for a new drive shaft. When I went to collect it the following morning the garage owner who didnt speak a word of English had a grin on his face when he took me to get my car and I saw his beauty.... His T16 was previously registered to a french rally driver as his road car. He is now restoring it .....

Here's one my old photos from the 1985 RAC Rally of a T16. There's a picture on the net of the same car at Goodwood so B555SRW is still around - see http://www.andycam.net/view_photo.ph...04&id=IMG_0690
Here's a picture of the competition from the same year.
