They drink more fuel than a Scooby AND you need 5 Litres of Oil per run to the shops!!
Take a peek at the rear of your local Mazda dealer .... everyone hands them back! (but they just release them to the forecourt slowly so as not to panic the market!)
They will get found out and then the resale values will collapse

Buy a classic, I wanted something a bit newer and up to date.
Could have bought 2 of them, but wanted something without the boy racer image.
Build quality much better for transporting my kids worried the classic may have been thrashed are fall apart.

You actually PAID for a BugEye?????
Not only that, you paid twice as much as a Classic??!!
What does it feel like to be:-
1. Driving the ugliest car on the road today?
2. Having a car with a resale value of LESS than the model it replaced?
3. Realising that you will never, ever, find a buyer for it?
Just wondering?

Mate, you are a proper idiot.
Insulting peoples cars when they post a simple thread, you need to go out mate on your pc friday night after 8 o clock.
At least im in works time, *** end.
Sad man.

And quickly getting back on thread....
The 228 bhp RX8 should be quicker than a bugeye wrx as it has about a 10 bhp/ton advantage (taken that both cars are standard!). The 0-60's are about even too, the bug being slightly quicker given its extra traction but not much. 0-100 the RX8 should be about 1.5 seconds quicker and it's the same story 60-100.
Having driven both the RX8 road car, on road and track, and many a WRX - in my opinion the WRX is so much more fun. The RX8 may look the part but there are so many disadvantages, many listed already I see. The RX8's handling get really twitchy at the limit and in the wet forget it - you'd be long gone, especially round the twisties (chuckle chuckle)!!
Console yourself that for the price of PPP or some similar mods the advantage quickly swings back to the WRX!!
And next time you get any hassle from an RX8 insist on driving a short distance and then an old style GP race start where the driver has to run to the car first, with keys in hand - apparently there is a real problem with re-starting RX8's after short trips and there is no solution other than not to do short trips!! Your 0-60 can be leisurely while the RX8 has a 0-60 minute wait for the recovery truck!!

Cheers, PowerStation (plenty of adverts and links from this site) is a great place to get your mods done, whatever your budget they can advise you on a good all round package, RX8 spanking no problem!!

just humour pete, he means well and is always good for a laugh, even if it is at his expense lol
back to the topic, i would rather have the bugeye TBH,. it may be ugly, but, at least when you drive it you can see where you are goint, the front screen pillar in the RX8 is terrible, it was like being in a box you couldnt see out of. Now that aint too good for any car, let alone a 25k performance car...

You implied in your post that you 'could have bought 2 classics for your 1 ugly'
I simply pointed out that all that money has disappeared .............
You implied that the quality of the BugEye was better than the Classic, well - maybe - but who the hell wants to drive a Corrolla/Scorpio mix up ... even if its screwed together well???
You will have to get used to me telling it as it is or you will be very angry and very upset ................ it's nothing personal, I talk straight to EVERYONE!!!
They really ARE pig ugly aren't they??????
