RS6 colour combo opinions
Currently hunting for my ideal rs6.
Red is too flash, black is too hard to keep clean, don't like blue cars, so I'm looking at the graphite silver.
I've found a nice one but its got red leather seats
However, the more I look at it the more I like it
It picks out the red accents on the outside like the brake lights and rs badge
Any opinions?

Have to say i prefer the wood to the carbon fibre. Red seats don't seem to be getting much support I wonder if I can use it as a bargaining tool to lower the price

Mate the red seats are pretty.... well.....unique! Not to my personal taste.
You WILL have a lot of trouble when it comes to resale.
I went for Mugello Bule, Black seats (white piping) and carbon trim. My favo combo aqnd the widest resale appeal.

If they are anything like the 'Imola' inserts in my M5 then they will appear about 10 shades lighter/brighter on a photo than in the flesh.
You may find they are actually dark red and no where near as bright as they appear in the photo. I would deffo see it in the flesh before making a decision.

Buying that RS6 with those (horrid) red seats would no doubt cause major problems when you come to sell it..... both in residual terms and saleability.
THere are plenty around (probably too many !) for decent money - why would you even contemplate that one - unless its half the price of the others ??
Whats your budget ?

I,d buy it, love the seat and paint combo, but would change the inlays to brushed alu or carbon/kevlar.
Personally i like red seats in most cars like the M3 E46 combo in a similar colour and the S2000 again in a similar colour.

Dont do it!!! Those seats are horrific!!
Lets face it, you are only trying to convince yourself you like the red seats just because you cant be bothered to wait for one with decent seats to turn up!!
Wait until you find exactly the one you want, you'll only regret it otherwise.

As others have already posted I think you'll have a lot of trouble come re-sale time with those seats.
My RS6 is mugello blue, has silver leather seats with black piping and aluminium trim. Contrary to what you may think, the light leather really doesn't show up the dirt and is easy to keep clean.
I also dismissed red cars when I was buying mine on the grounds of possibly harder resale, but have to say that the RS6 really looks good in misano red - a nice contrast to all the boring dark blue/grey/silver cars around.
Gary.

Schtoppp!!!! The red looks a bit gay Ed (particularly with the wood). Take your time and find something a bit more palatable. Surely there must be some nice understated interiors available with the graphite? The rest of the car's lovely by the way

My black ones went brown in the first few days wonder if this will effect it's resale value??? Mind you, having so much fun in her at the moment, don't think I will sell her........ despite the brown seats
