DC2 Integra Type R [Import]
A long time ago back at college, me and my mate were always talking about cars to have before 21 y/o, 25y/o etc etc.
Anyway, my mate was always a bit of a jap car lover and said before he was 25 he wanted a Jap import DC2.
Anywyay, he got one - and i went on a 200 mile trip in it, and all i can say is WOW
Built for the track it is a bit harsh for some, but my god it is a fast. Point to point it is awesome and from 5900 - 8500 it is mental. The LSD keeps it on the black stuff and delivers the power well. He has been on a Dyno with it and the graph is very smooth indeed. The 1.8 i think is quite torquy and produces a reasonable 150lb/ft and 211bhp. The only downside is the way it is geared. As i said, it is built for the track, but it is doing about 5000 rpm @ 80mph with a 'race spec' exhaust
Overall it is a awesome bit of kit

Those power figures seem very high! I know the jap spec runs a slightly different compression and advanced timing (on jap fuel) but even still! My S2000 doesn't have that torque.
Ive been in a mildly modded one round some tight twisty stuff and I was scared - really scared! I couldnt live with mine as a daily driver but I do miss it sometimes. Still looks up to date too!

Bought one yesterday after 2 years with a wrx and I cannot wipe the smile off my face. A real driving experience.
and its totally standard - makes a nice change for a standard car to be a complete package!

Mines still near standard too, bar uprated brake pads they don't *need* anything else to cope with track use imo.
And they'll LOO like a good un too

My friend had one for a while could not shift it so sold it for peanuts I wanted it sooooooooo bad but SWMBO said it was 'too low' and 'too uncivilised' well my son was about 2 years old at the time (car seats and all that boring stuff!!!).
