Talking Saw quite a rare BMW last night !

For those people who appriciate certain BMW models, i was at the local Car Club meet last night, and a chap turned up with a Alpina B8 4.6. Based on a 328 Coupe i think. LHD only and i think there were only 231 made just over ten years ago. It is 1 of 2 in the UK apparently !

Sorry, that's a totally different car to the one pictured, which is the BMW 320i RS Racing "Type-R", which is the 320i built in conjunction with Ford's high performance RS unit but then EXCLUSIVELY taken over and tweaked by the secret Honda/Toyota race tuning consortium. You can tell from the rear light clusters. In fact, <AudiLover> my informants tell me </AudiLover> that this is the only one to be brought into the UK.

No, this had a 10inch rev-counter with changer light on the drivers side door column which was added to the later models, this was of course at the same time they adopted the European Nomclature I think you will find.

You can tell the difference between the Type R racing RS and the RS racing Type R as the former has a fake dump valve
