Got the 6 series and its amazing!!!!
To all of you who were nice on my previous thread about buying my 6 Series Convertable, I know am the proud owner
It is perfect for the weather we are having now, good on fuel, quite nippy and looks like the dogs danglies!!
The wheels are Alpina 20" 285/30 (massive) and i dread replacing them.
Jeremy Clarkeson called it a "tramps hat", but its the nicest tramps hat ive ever had!!!!
I also am getting a tan

SFK, well done!! Can't quite strech to a 6 myself unless i sell my STi 8, Navara, Evo 6 and my 330ci cab so i'll just have to do with my 330 . I saw one in my local town Blackwood (S Wales) and they look superb!! If your tan is an all over and you need a second opinion.....on the car obviously .......feel free to PM me your phone number!!!!
Have fun and take care and do ignore the few jealous f**kwits in their Classics with Lexus back lights as there are loads of top people on here!!!!!
Dave.

Thanks dave that is nice of you. I know there are a lot of nice people on here as we have just been away with 10 of them to france. My husband is extremecapture (a photographer), and we have just come back from a week of alcohol fueled mayhem.
My last thread about buying it did get sooo funny in the end though!!!
Cheers chic

Oooppps....husband.......better withdraw some of my offers then !!! Glad you are enjoying this fine weather and you got it just in time. I like the sound of the 20" Alpinas but no wheel spins as they must be a few dollars each to replace!! Think i'll drop the roof on mine and go for a spin now

Hey Guys, give the girl a break, shes just excited about her new car
And, as the husband, and originally disappointed she didnt go for the bigger engine, i can honestly say its the mutts nutz.
Gonna have to keep her on a short leash now

Sounds bloody amazing, wondered what it was when I first heard it

Karl 227This would be the 6 series I'd be more interested in
Funny you should say that. My boss has one of these. Been out in it a few times a **** me its quick. Apparently its limited to 155, but weve done 168 before (on the companies own runway around the back of the office )
Very very nice car, awesome sound too.

Dont have no problems, just wasn't sure why you posted about 3 different topics on the subject, one would've been OK
Enjoy the car though, glad your liking it.

V nice SFK, glad your enjoying it.
Was following an M6 the other week towards the M50 from ross-on-wye, what a sound and the performance was unbelievable don't gt me wrong I was in a new shape passat tdi and was never going to worry him but bloody hell the way the thing pulled away was truly amazing.
Personally I like em and if you have the funds available and can justify it why not?? Life is for living!!!
Would have to be a hardtop for me as my fair skin would not take well to a soft top - a nice shade of brown? Me thinks not, more lobster red!! SPF 100 anybody?
Paul

SFK had a 7 series before and that was nice, like driving a lounge
But kept up (for most of the time) with the scoobyboys on the French Trip. The 6, although only being the 3 litre is amazingly sprightly and with the 20" rims, it sticks to the road superbly.
A great car, heightened by sunshine
