Default Can anyone identify this car??

I hope I'm posting this in the right forum; please advise if not. This pic was posted on another site I frequent and no one has been able to identify it! Any ideas?

Looks like an Australian muscle car, Maybe a Falcon XB, although the rear window is wrong, unless this is peculiar year

I did an image search for the Falcon XB. Don't think so. I guess it might be a Capri, although the hatch lid doesn't really match.

I keep thinking it looks like a Renault or a Citroen of some kind, but I haven't been able to pin it down.

OK, for those of you interested, I think the "mystery" has been solved:

This is an Intermeccanic Indra . Unfortunately I can't take credit for finding it. It was another intrepid sleuth from the original BBS.

I'd say that whatever it once was, it's been heavily modified at some point. I don't reckon those wide arches are standard and the rear panel looks home made.

Apparently it was a junk yard in Las Vegas, USA.
