Nice car mate , dad had one but too be honest he found the petrol consumption to be very poor, but to be fair it was his first car off this type, normally going for toyota corollas and such like, wonder how you / wife find the petrol consumption ??
neighbour off mine has a black four door version off the HRV and must admitt it really does look well smart, dads was a red two door, having driven his when he owned it must admitt it really was nice to drive.

My Grandad had one
Watch out if it's CVT auto, as they judder when pulling away and slip excessively at motorway speeds - requires expensive gearbox work to fix.
Drive and handle nice though - like a big civic and a decent Pioneer radio as standard (although no rear speaker...cheapskates )

Yep remember dad telling me that the honda dealership where he bought his from advised him to be as seemingly they had a spate off hrv`s come in for a new stereo / dash repair after word had got out amongst the low life that they were fitted with decent stereos as standard.

the car was never built with speed in mind .the handling is brilliant for a car of that design.ill be fitting a good pair of rear speakers in next week.ive just

Pioneer keh-6800 IIRC, which was replaced with a 6900 on the insurance
When it was sold after he passsed on, I shamedly swapped it for a keh-4500 which I had at the time
