Ahhhh,.

Yep, your typing , not my eyes !!

Lovely Car mate.Very Clean. What did you think of it ? any +'s or -'s about them.

I have a Mitsubishi Evo 6 GSR. Only had it since Feburary, but after a recent trip to the Nurburgring i fell in love, I've always liked them, but just never thought of getting one.

LHD much of a disadvantage for the road ?

used to own one, had a black e reg with low miles on, awesome car, fantastic track car with a super chassis. just a shame they're all left hand drive, well apart from the ones that Birds converted but were never the same.

can honestly say i wasn't bothered on the left hand drive when i first got it, but it does wear on u if u drive norfolk roads!!! and unfortuneately thats why i sold mine. acceleration is awesome, sound is awesome and handling is awesome, i'd love another one as well as another car just cant afford 2!

12 wow lucky sod!!! think your right with your conclusion there, very good track/weekend car, but if your gonna buy one spend as much as u can and get the best u can find, coz there are some real dogs out there for 4-5 grand u really wanna be spending 8-9 i think. not that many specialist around, mosely motorsport were very helpful.

Do they have Air Con ? as most i have seen dont, some not even having leather !!

It's a big toss up between RWD fun, which i'm used to.
Or stick with me Evo 6. I generally only use the Evo for tootling round to my g/friends and round town etc.... or going out for a blast, dont really do that much mileage. It's an absolute 4rse on Fuel tho, £25 if im LUCKY, and dont go hell for leather everywhere will scrape between 75-100 miles

Hard on Fuel ?? mpg roughly ?

easy to go dicking about in round the wet roundabouts ??

Like my AE86 Toyota Corolla was. God I loved that car.

Think they will still be on the road for a good while yet ??

I used to have and E30 M3. It was a lot quicker than a 325i though . I was had a 325 before my M3 - so i had first hand experience of the performance difference.

Mpg was 24 combined, it was reasonably cheap to own really. The only downside is at around 100k you need a cam chain replacement. It is advised that you have all new pumps and a skimmed head i think. £2k bill anyway. There is a cheap fix with an E46 tensioner - but the proper job needs doing really.

I will upload an acceleration vid

I used to have an E30 M3. This one:

It was one of those on my "must have" list, so I bought one as a second car. Problem is my everyday car at the time was a tuned Audi S3, which I then sold to buy a new shape M3. So with a nice everyday car, I never found myself using the old, slow (by comparison), LHD E30.

A lovely looking car, superb handling, just too old for my liking. Pleased I had one though.

The LHD didn't take too much getting used to, nor did the dogleg box.

Default RHD/Bird's Conversion

Altough all E30 M3s left the factory LHD, Bird's of Uxbridge converted a few to RHD (I owned one a few years ago, and some RHD examples can be seen in the Irish Tarmac Championship).

The RHD car, although not as "pure" as the original was and still is superb.

Must post a picture of it on here tonight.

I know someone with 2, one is a proper RHD conversion and thoroughly upgraded no expense spared, it's beautiful, it's a monster . The other I think is also RHD but I can't be sure. More than likely 1 is for sale... PM for more
