Leon Angst....Brick wall anyone??
After almost 4 weeks waiting for my Ipod adapter to be fitted and low and behlold Halfords nor their external fitter could even get my stereo out to do the fitting. FOUR WEEKS .
They then blamed Seat for not provididng them with the tools necessary to do the job either or ven give them advice.
Well after speaking to Seat they have offered to take out my stereo to allow them to do the job.
What a bunch of planks. They have managed to drag out a fairly simple task..
Rant over. Why oh why did I go against my better judgement and use Halford to begin with.
Esh
PS I only seem to be posting negative threads lately!! Come back Scooby

I feel sorry for halfords fitters - I've seen one guy try to do an install on a new civic, which requires half the dash to come apart, with the world's crappest toolset and zero knowledge of what to do. As I've done my wife's, I talked him through what he needed to do: he promptly gave up. I think civics are now on the "do not attempt" list

Wouldn't let a Halfrauds 'fitter' within a mile of any car of mine
My mother went there to have a stereo fitted. They cut the plugs off her car's loom instead of using an autoleads adapter, connected the permanent & switched lives the wrong way round so the stereo memory kept clearing whenever the key was removed, and left two ******* big scratches up the centre console from obviously not using the right tools to remove the original stereo
To cap it all, my idiot mother expected me to put it all right, because she "didn't want to go back and make a fuss".
I wouldn't mind but she's known the ICE specialist (who's **** hot) at our local independent auto parts shop since he was knee high to Michael Owen
