Can't be arsed to read their site , but two questions:
Does it have good enough ground clearance to get over speed humps, or will it only be trailered?
Is there a solution to the non-opening-windows problem (of ventilation) - eg do they open, or will it have aircon?

Mate of mine has a GT40 rep in gulf colours, its one of the best looking reps I have seen and really does turn heads - at LeMans we were getting crowds of people standing around it taking photos etc.

That looks like a nice kit, very blingy and solid looking chassis tub.
I quite like the CAV GT40 replicas made in South Africa - I wonder how they compare

Was looking at the CAV (CAV & RCR were my final choices) but it was a fair bit dearer with all the options & IMO the chassis looks a lot better on the RCR as it's a proper monocoque, also a lot lighter as it's all aluminum.
Plus, check the gorgeous suspension & brakes on this baby
Best thing so far is that the owner (Fran Hall) is always available on the end of a phone, makes me feel a whole lot better about sending that amount of money abroad to someone I've never met. Customer service so far is A1, which after owning a Westfield is a refreshing change.
Quite tempted to go with Gulf Arrow colour scheme
Either that or dark metallic blue with white stripes, still undecided lol.

Looking at the dollar at the moment, for £23K for the basic car, you get a hell of alot more car than what you'd get with a westie.
Although I suppose it's going to be another £20K on top of once the taxes, engine and gearbox are put on top of that.
I might also throw out the idea of orginality of using a Ford engine and use one of these wafer-light monsters instead http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=17802397

It's in the UK! Arrived last week. sat at the house of Chris Melia (UK GT40 Expert) at the moment, next to his real, alloy bodied GT40 & Porsche 908 he's rebuilding.
It's off to the classic car show at NEC http://www.necclassicmotorshow.com/ on the RCR stand & it should be in my garage 1st week of Nov.
Have decided to take time off of work from Jan to build it full-time.
I'll keep everybody updated with pics
