How comes you don't see Beach Buggies these days??
what has happened to them all??
go back 15 years there used to be loads around, especially in this type of weather
but they've all seemed to have disappeared

I've a '66 GP mk1 swb (the best (IMO) british short wheelbase). It atttracts much more attention that the Scooby. Everyone loves it; little kids, old ladies and especially school girls
. Mine's bright yellow and loud as you like. With 65bhp from it's 1600 twin carb engine it's quick (off the line) too - well it is only 600kg. Messes up your hair though at anything over 30mph - best shave it off!
If you like them, they go for £1500 and up for something in good condition, but this is dependent on type and time of year - like errrrrr now would be a good time to sell what with the hot weather!
