Ed

They do indeed fold down... done it a couple of times in mine to fit my mountain bike in.

great, how is the total space?

I'm getting one as a courtesy car while the RS6 gets the bumper repaired and I'm off camping with tent, gazebo, kitchen sink etc....

Total space is quite good, the main concern is marking the trim in the rear when loading/cornering.

Thanks guys.

Always wondered what the fuss was about the M3 so very much looking forward to having one for a week to see for myself.

Anything I should be careful of? I've had my share of rwd cars but anything out of the ordinary, any 'quirks' i should know? SMG operation? Etc?

Kangaroos when cold, shouldn't be too bad in this heat.

Brakes will grumble easily.

Make sure you rev it to 8000 RPM at every opportunity

Apart from the 100 or so ponnies, would be interested to here what you think of the M3 over the Audi to drive.

The RS is a monster, but can't help but think the M3 even with the less power is possibly a more involving drive and more fun?. Not many people can compare back to back.

Obviously the RS is your new baby, and your probably slightly biased but interested to see what you think once you have driven both.

Rob, I like to think I'm as objective as they come, so I'll be sure to give you all my honest opinion either way.
