anyone got a spare volvo 340?
Looking for a runaround while my M3 is getting rebuilt.
Whilst it is in my posession I plan to weld the diff and fit suspension goodies to keep my oar in.
The diff welding man and the suspension is already sourced, just need the car now.
Looking for a late model volvo 340, has to be the 1.7, and ideally the 3-door.
Can anyone help? if so, please PM me, I have cash waiting for the right car.
Thanks,
astraboy.

Now if anyone read this and didnt know your background they would think you are mental, a young lad that hankers after a pensioners chariot. I suppose drifting is like drugs, it sends you into places you wouldnt normally go to pay for stuff that no sane person would want.
I would suggest the local paper will turn up the best (ahem) examples, will check ours when I get home as I am sure I spotted one the other day, next to the 1500 quid Rover BRM. Other than that Ebay and ring around VOlvo specialists in the area, last time I drove one was wehn I put the T5 in for tyres and a service at the local independant Volvo shop, they lent me a 340 1.4, had that sideways, bounced it off the kerb and dented the rim in my enthusiasm and lack of talent, didnt care as it wasnt taxed, probably not insured or MOT'd and smelt like a butchers dustbin.

Ah the Volvo 300 series the memories, here is my 360 bought off eBay for £21.50;
I would not recommend one, the front suspension collapsed after 3 days of drifting!
Quick fix and it was back on the road
2 days after that the clutch went :-(

Love the bodge
I nearly had one for £50. But the old duffer changed his mind and decided to keep it.
Intention was to source a Renault turbo engine to dump in
Never forget when a Mate of mine lost the back end when hustling round the lanes, dear lord, too many trees...thank f*** it was a Volvo

I would just like to point out, the car was left in that state in a high security work area, not in a car park somewhere. It was also drifted on private ground not around the mean streets edinburgh.
RIP only lasted 5 days :-(
