My RS6 sounds nice, however my Scooby with equal headers sounded like a Jap sports bike, and the triple dellorto 40mm carbs with trumpet intakes on my Datsun 260z sounded like they were sucking the road in in front of you!!!

Alfa 33 - start of the boxer engine thing for me !
MY00 Scoob - standard
MY02 Scoob decat centre and scoobysport
Honda Civic Type R with either simota induction kit on or Icebox on - sounded great when in the Vtec Zone
Currently own - and bought for noise and praticality
MY05 Scoob with decat centre and up pipe, sports cat down pipe - scoobysport exhaust
my kick out about old Range Rover (V8) Vogue SE complete with gas conversion - but sound better when running on petrol!

Not bought one, but my brother has had a few V6 MGs over the years as company cars, and they sound superb. Still prefer the burble of my Scooby though...

The Clio V6 255 is the best sounding car I've been in to date and that includes, loads of Imprezas, TVRs and and the fantastic S2000. I was blown away by the noise

Peugeot 605 SVE-24, a 3 litre 24V V6 banging out 200bhp.
Sounded almost as sweet as an Alfa V6
The car was a piece of ****, lumpy, notchy gearbox terrible handling & brakes that were either on or off It was one of the worst cars I have ever owned
But my god what a noise
My XR4x4 was bought partly because of it's sound too and the difference between the two is, eleven years later I still own it

I owned two 2.9's in the early 90's, one had the turbo technics conversion. Both cars had full Scrorpion exhausts (They were cool then) and they sounded awesome, the turbo version used to pop and bang on the overrun.

I bought the car... TR7...Purely to add the sound later
Courtesy of Mr. Grinnall, life improved utterly with the installation of a Rover V8 and a stainless steel exhaust system with a large single bore backbox.
Ah, my beautiful yellow shouty cheese-wedge...
