Go to your VAG dealer an order one. Should be on their parts list
But it won't be made by the like of Baileys or Blitz - as they just exist to make money from selling chrome plated old rope to people fanatical about dumpvalves
That's presuming they have one at all.

what is wrong with u losers that hate dump valves there is nothing wrong with them. I was watching top gear the other day, the one with the p2 in it. You could clearly hear the dump valve chirpping away. But i suppose u lot would turn it down because it has a dump valve.

Its the wastegate making that noise as its the air being forced back out
through the turbo blades when it shuts

VTA ones are as you say aftermarket.
Don't really have an opinion on em.

recirc valves are better, as the feed the dumped air back into the system, reducing the stall-lag times. and are more efficient.
Ask Saab, theyve been doing dump valves for donkeys years, if dump to atmos were the way to go, they,d be fitting them as standard, which incedentally they dont

It's nothing to do with restriction, more that they just blow open when you turn up the boost. Modern ones are pretty good.
Gone are the days of stalling RS Turbo's.
I'll stick to not having one at all though thanks.

Metro Turbo too
My car has a "dump valve" (its actually called an air bypass valve) as standard, it's good for well over 350bhp.
Ain't broke, don't fix. So I'm happy that I save that £100 wasted on buying something you don't need and can spend it on something useful, like beer, petrol or £100 ******
