Honda Jazz
Had my mum/wifes Jazz today and must say very pleased. I was considering a second hand A class vs new Jazz and glad I went for the latter. Nice ride, light steering, good autobox and the engine is actually very smooth, quiet and quite nippy.
Thanks to those that pushed me in the right direction

Deep, good choice. The new shape is coming out soon:

but to be honest looks much the same, that's how good this car is!

I bought a jazz for my mum a couple of years ago- its still only done 800 miles.
Its a cracking little car, and, strangely, I don't have to move the seat to drive it- she's 5' (ish), I'm a foot or so taller and rather a lot bigger / heavier- when filling it with petrol, although i think I've only had to do that twice
