Just wondering weather to do a deal with it or not

260 bhp, sounds optimistic unless its on a bigger turbo,

Very optimistic more like 190ish if on a KO3 or 210ish if on a KO3s turbo.
Maybe add another 10bhp tops with the CAI, exhaust and FMIC.

K04 turbo fitted, I knew the previous owner and he spent 8k on it, All work done by awesome gti, and he had it RR'd at 260 IIrc

Sounds spot on then, with the K04 turbo and the remap it will push 260bhp, no problems, basically the same as the S3 or 225TT, but without the uprated internals, but there are plenty of 1.8T 150bhp engine with 300bhp+ running on the standard internals with no issues, so dont let that put you off.

Although given the age/mileage a huge chunk of that 8k is down the drain. all to your gain of course

alloys much too big for that car. Bet it handles and rides like a swine

with coilovers its highly doubtful.
Also id check the exhaust because APR dont make them from what i know, they just do remapping.

Failing that id say about £5k ish

Nice sleeper, prob about five-ish grand with all that work done, not really that much more than standard as most people dont want one that been messed with, the sad truth about modifying.
