Good buy or not?
Hi all
I'm looking for a cheap car at the moment and have come across a 2.0 sri 140 vectra (facelift 2000 model) with no service history apart from cambelt change at 104k, the current mileage is 140k. Rear bushes have been replaced and good tyres all round. It has mot till next may. I'm not a huge fan of vauxhalls but this is for sale for £800.
Is this a good buy or should i walk away from it? It's hpi clear.
Regards
Mark

What is the rest of the car like? does the engine sound fine?
check all the usual stuff for wear and tear,
800 quid is not bad but to be honest Vectras and Mondeos are cheap.
I've just picked up a 2.0SI Mondeo with a genuine 53k on the clock and SH for 985!!!
Plenty more out there me old mucka - you can afford to be choosy
