Another new motor in the J4CKO household, went in to order a replacement for the Sharan, a Galaxy but there is a six month wait for new Fords with the Diesel engine because they cant make the engines fast enough due to evrything using it and he new Mondeo coming out so we have bought a six month old one, its a Zetec 140 diesel, quite a saving as they would only offer an 8% discount on a new one.

Should be better to drive than the Sharan, the performance stats suggests its nearly four seconds to sixty quicker at 9/9 seconds, quite useful performance for a big car, I should imagine in handles a lot better as well, they look less like they are perched 8 foot off the road on castors like the Sharan.

Anyone need a 5 year old people mover ?

We have people carriers too - currently a JDM Honda Odyssey. I was thinking the new Galaxy is about the best replacement, or the Mazda equivalent.

Its a 52 Plate 115 SL TDi, sold it last night, got a few hundred more than the trade in offer so worth the effort and its going to a really nice family whos own Sharan got rear ended and written off so everyones a winner, Motd it today, they noticed the exhaust had broken so had to replace that, will get it mint for them at the weekend.

looking forward to getting the new one.
