"However, the really big news takes place under the bonnet, where engineers have managed to squeeze 270bhp out of the 2.0-litre TFSI powerplant."
Wow, 270BHP out of a 2.0 litre Turbo. I'm amazed

Thats not bad for a factory engine that has to deal with long service intervals, bad treatment (average TT owner.....) and be tractable, ok you can get 500 plus bhp from a 2.0 turbo but what is it like in day to day use and how long will it last ?

OK, but I would buy an S3 instead, same engine, same drive train - more pratical shape and space inside - oh and cheaper !

This could be good news for an end of line RS3. Price could be a stickler though.
RS3 could be £38k+
TT-RS would be I'd think £40k+
Could be a tough decision to make come 2009.
RS3 or Focus RS?
