Default 13" steel wheel tyre suggestions (for 106 derv)

As I don't have a great deal of experience of buying tyres for non-performance cars (), after some suggestions as to what would be a decent set of all round tyres for my little pug 106?

As they're only going to be £30 a corner or so tops, the budget isn't a big deal - I'd just like something to make the most of what I've got!

Cheng Shin Deathmaster 2000's were always a favourite budget tyre. Or Hoi Sin Graveltraps.

firestones are about £30 a corner and should last well on a little 106

shouldn't that be Hoi Sheet Graveltraps?

I think one of the four tyres I have on it at the moment might be one of those already...

I know you might struggle to believe this - but you really CAN buy a £30 "premium" tyre for a 13" steel wheel. I can understand your amazement - I didn't believe it either! Thats a whole set of tyres for less than one impreza tyre.. I mocked those people in crappy cars.. but now I see how its just motoring for poor people!

Get the cheapest, crappiest things possible! Let's face it, you're not gonna be getting anywhere quickly so you may as well make the most of it!

The other side of that argument is that I need the best tyres I can get in order to make the most of what little I have
