A friend of mine has ordered a M3 S54 3.2 coupe with every extra
,paddle gearbox,widescreen tv,sat nav etc etc
Is this model out yet,because i can buy it in may when he gets delivery.I think the E46 is the latest one at the moment isnt it??????Whats the wating list on these??????????

I got quoted over a year three months ago! Can't plan that much in advance though, so didn't bother.
Isn't the S54 supposed to be stripped down (no AirCon and stuff) to make it lighter and faster - therefore, what's the point of having the TV and stuff in to make it heavier again?

Andyman,the car my mates ordered is brimming with every concievable extra availible,Silver,leather,folding mirrors,climate comfort screen,electric rear blinds,centre arm rests,heated seats,sat nav,widescreen tv,harmon kardon sound system,high gloss shadow line,sequential paddle gerbox,cd changer,mat set,air con,del pack etc etc.

S54 is just the engine series and the E46 has been out for a while - the lightened M3 will apparently be badged CSL like the old batmobiles.
Sounds like it'll need to be a CSL to balance out all that heavy crap - you don't want to get smoked by 330i's
