Nah, you wouldn't want aircon - it would affect the power to weight ratio....

With that much power, I don't think it'd matter.

And why is it, no matter what cool cars are created, there's also some bright spark jumping up saying "Ah, but what about the Ninja Caterham/Westfield twin-superbike engined bathtub on wheels that can do 3000mph in 4 seconds". Who cares, you'd have to pay me to get in one of those things.

The Viper looks lurvely, most likely sounds lurvely, would get the women all gooey, and won't soak the occupants in a downpour.

True, but as the droves of people NOT buying an MY01 will testify, it's no good having a fast car if it's got the looks of a smacked ****. I think people like their cars to have performance AND looks, so it's not unreasonable to comment on both.

Iffy build quality? I haven't heard this. But then the car you referred to, the Caterham/Westie types, aren't exactly the bastions of screwed-togetherness either.

Besides, the Viper (along with V8 Vantage and Diablo) are one of the few cars you can FEEL approaching.

Well a brand new 'standard' viper is only US$70K = 49K pounds

Not sure how much the conversion is worth
