Default Saab 93 2.2 Tid SS

My mate is looking to upgrade his ARB's etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for performance parts?

Cheers

No aftermarket stuff really for SS that I can see but here is the Saab one.

Parts for Saabs: 9-3 Sport Saloon/Sedan 02' on Sports Suspension Kit

Saab Parts, Accessories & Saab Performance Tuning, Worldwide Shipping. Suspension system -

AbbottRacing - New 9-3 Chassis Saab tuning parts performance accessories repair servicing used

The 9000, 900, pre SS 9-3 are all well covered for handling tweaks...

The SS seems stuck with the Saab kits if you really want an ARB, otherwise change springs and shocks instead. I would tend to do this first and see how it goes with maybe thicker ARBs later if you want more.

The koni FSDs look promising too - watch the Abbott pricing though althought they are more competitive these days.

As always - never buy kit like this without trawling the forums for opinions!

Hirsch do a handling kit, its actually softer than the Aero stuff but much better, dont quote me but its the same platform as the Vectra C so potentially there may be some commonality but check it out before buying anything as though its the same the 9-3 is shorter and has been Saab-ified.

Thanks for the info guys, to be honest we haven't had alot of success with the other saab forums and i'm not familiar enought to get the best set up on these cars.
He's going for new springs first and to see what the ride is like, then we'll see whats next.

cheers

Really? - my 9-5 Aero hot is smooth and handles quite well for a SAAB.
