I've tried to convince my friend to by a Scooby but he's not having it.

He's after an SLK. So I'm trying to help him out.

Does anyone have any personal experiences of them, owning/running, any problems or do's/don'ts, must have's on the extras list.

Had a 1997 R reg 230K a few years ago, and apart from the auto box (pants) it was a great car (M-B badge is very cool).

If your friend can afford it go for the 320 + manual gears.

He will not be disappointed.
