Thinking of buying a Honda Type R but can't decide on which is best:
EP3, EK9 or Accord i like them all (not a fan of the new civic tho)
Any help welcome
Cheers.

Isnt the FD2 faster than either of the ITR's?
Great if you can live with one but I prefer the refined feel of the FN2 as a daily driver and more practical car. Will look to sort out a lease on one when Im back from hols in a few weeks.

Hi Ozzy I had a 2002 Accord type R, 2.2 litre. Had if for 5 years sold it for £5250 last year. It was a great car, 4 doors, big boot every thing you need good power 212 BHP.Do not have a bad word to say about it. I was very sad to see it go
Good looking car I would say better than my 2006 STI. And you don't see many around.
Some of the bad things if there was any ,engine a bit pinky at low revs, front tyres wear very quickly. You definitely wont be disappointed with one of these

Cool looks nice, not sure about the induction thing
Mine was on a 2002 plate and it had a more modern front end if you can be patient I'm sure you could find a nice example.
Try leaving your name and number with a Honda dealer that's what i did

i agree the EP3 might be common, but some of us need a hatchback to put dogs in the back. I've heard and read a good few times that a simple geometry change can really transform the car's handling and that Honda set it up much more safe minded. The change lets you really play with the liftoff oversteer. For about £1200 fitted a CPL stage 1 remap improves its midrange well too. CPL Racing : Civic Integra Stage 1

Just sold my DC2 around 2 weeks ago after buying my 06 sti. Amazing machine and one of the best handling cars i have ever driven. Had a DC5 before the dc2 but the 2 is a better overall car IMO.

Shameless plug... but since the buyer for my Impreza has pulled out, I've got my JDM DC2 in Black for sale, with quite a chunk of change from your budget too.
