My Mates New Range Rover Sport - Arden Stronger AR6
Hi All,
Just thought I would post some pictures of my mates car that he got a month ago. Its a range rover sport sport that has been tuned and modified by Arden to be transformed into an AR6 Arden Stronger Range Rover.
The interior is all custom to the cars colours and it truely is a nice motor. His Range Rover is the V8 diesel TDV8 and the performance figures have been increased to 315 HP and 700 Nm torque
I believe the final cost including the car was £106k so quite alot of cash but I think its really worth it.
Just thought I would see what you all thought of it.
The Website link to the pictures they took and gives you a look at what the interior is like.

I don't see the point?
Any benefit in having a diesel is lost as the fuel economy will be crap, and in any case if he has splashed 108k on a RR I doubt economy is a concern?
It's not hugely fast for the money paid, you are in Ferrari/ Aston Martin/ Lamborghini territory, and the styling is too flash for my taste, I like the RR Vogue as standard.
Still you pays your money and makes your choice

I live about 5 minutes from Overfinch, I see pimped Range rovers of all shapes and sizes.
I think if you have 106k to spend then it doesnt matter if it looses money as money isnt an object.
I would have gone for something else, but thats my taste. Any chance your mate is a footballer

Not my cup of tea at all, I like the TDV8, but only in standard form.
That's got new money/footballers wife/gangsta/depreciation written all over it.
I never really understood why LR didn't set up their own sporting/styling division like Alpina or AMG etc?

If he has an Enzo, an F430 spider, some lambo's, a 911 turbo, a mortgage free £2m house an S-class and a few track cars such as an R500....then I can see the point of spending £106,000 on this car. Failing that it's an absolutely mental purchase IMHO and he needs a good slap.

Each to their own I suppose, arent they about 50/60 grand, seems a lot extra 40k plus for a body kit wheels and a remap, or am I missing something, the best it would be to mess with the "Arden Stronger" lettering as it is a basically an anagram of "Transgender"
Nice he is doing well enough to throw so much money at a car, fair play to him !

I knew the response would be like this lol.
He owns a large construction company hence being able to afford it. He just wanted something completly different to any other RR in the UK. He has been offered more than he paid for it by a couple of local footballers, but he refuses to sell as he bought it too keep it for himself.
He is currently looking at an Aston Martin to replace his 6 Series BMW which his Wife uses.
End of the day he prefers to have 4x4 and not sports cars so I suppose its each to their own.
Cheers for posting.
