Is there someone who drove the new civic type R on track?

my question how are the brakes holding out?
warping?
fading ?
etc.

are you still driving with standard brake pads or an aftermarket brand?
have you put in better brake oil?

Regards

Andre

There's a guy on the Honda owners board who took his on track last month. Apparently the brakes lasted all day with no fade at all.

Kinda agrees with all the magazine reviews as well. The brakes are excellent.

Wink

He obviously werent trying hard enough

I spoke to a regular track dayer who uses Donnington who has a new CTR, no problems with Warping but pads get very spoungy after 1/2 a day.

I wish everyone would call it the Civic Type R Mark 2, i suddenly thought there was another owner, of the original, very few and far between.

If you are going to use it regular on track i would call AP Racing, and Mardi Gras racing (Will be running a new CTR this year in some competition).
