Got it at last! NON-sleeper....
Well, after about 9 months deciding and then waiting for this one to come up for sale, I finally have it.
2003 X50 996TT, 450bhp, 620Nm, and 30k miles.
An unusual colour yes, and not to everyone's taste, but that's why I like it!

And my God, it's feckin' fast.

I think I know what you mean.
It's probably the shadow from my truck on the rear wheel and the angle I took the photo from, but the wheels are exactly the same size as the standard ones.
Whether the dish is slightly different, I don't know.
But to me, it looks stunning in the flesh.
ETA - looking at your pics again, the spokes on the Techno are very sharp compared to the rounded standard wheel spokes. Could have something to do with it?

Prefer the standard wheels myself, but honestly, stunning car.

Utterly fantastic. Especially at that mileage. Gorgeous colour too. Four-wheeled perfection
But I've got to ask - how much (to the nearest £10k will do)

How is yours?
Come to Elvington and we can have a race
With your extra power you might edge the straight line but mine has MUCH less weight to get around the corners (as long as I stay off the pies).

I've just had 3 weeks on holiday so I'm already carrying an extra 2Kgs.
That would be unfair on me.
I wouldn't mind seeing yours though.
When's Elvington happening and where is it?
