they made them in the late 80's, 2.3 16v 4 cy engines i think, what where they like any1 got 1? drove 1? 0-60? max mph?

sumthing different!!

They made the very last Evo II which was awesome.

This is certainly not it though!

Mate of mine had one and it cost a fortune to run. Parts were hideously expensive and to be honest it was no quicker than my Legacy Turbo. Interior was quite nice but very dated. it was certianyl well put together although the auto gearbox in his one seemed to be rather a weak spot.

Nice cars,

I had the 2.3 and a 2.5, but both came with half leather,A/C,bodykit,hard to clean alloys (standard ones) and Merc servicing (not cheap at the best of times)....Not the quickest cars on the block (nor the slowest), but a nice ride and put together well. Residual values hold quite well (as long as not bought new)..

All in all you get a lot of car for little money (make sure its got a full MBSH)....

Merc make a better auto box than the manual and this reflects in the prices...
