Video of Escort Cosworths at Knockhill
If you know of Andrew Gallacher you might have seen this, but just thought I'd post it up. Having a bit of fun at a trackday at the hill 9 or so years ago.
YouTube - charlie shaws escort cosworth on board at knockhill
The camera is in Charlie Shaw's car which is on slicks. Andrew's car in front was on road tyres.

Was speaking to Andy on Saturday night, he was a bit pished though so probably won't remember talking to me
Knowing Andy I'd guess he'd it set the brake bias that way to unsettle the rear under braking. As you can see the boy can drive a bit
His latest Focus Cosworth is a work of art-handmade and built as a spaceframe around genuine Ford Motorsport Carbon Fibre body panels. There's a build diary of it on passionford somewher that's well worth a read
P.S. The Marina was an Avenger

Most folk at trackdays don't drive anything like as hard as that. They say they're being smooth, but they're just being slow. If you watch touring cars go round a track, they are being driven properly...quick and smooth!

Hmmm, I'd always fancied a track day but not if some of the other guys are driving like this when near the cars of other guys who, I presume, aren't wanting to go quite so extreme. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for cutting loose but I really hope that the guys in the other cars a) knew this b) were happy to drive in conditions like that.
Some lovely lift-off-to-power oversteer throughout the vid as well

Saxo Boy - There aren't many tracks in the UK like Knockhill was. Bearing in mind this was 9 years ago, they weren't very strict about what you could do on trackdays back then. They aren't so easy going now!
There is a vid somewhere of Andrew approaching the hairpin in the racing Escort he had after this(600+bhp) and putting it so sideways it drifts backwards into the hairpin and round it.

I have no idea of cost. The pedal box was £3k if I remember correctly. So you can go from there...

They have clapped down on the maniacs quite a bit recently, Although its not as bad as it was there are still the odd Lewis Hamilton wanna be`s but i suppose you get these types on most trackdays till there weeded out
I prefer to stick with the private days like SIDC,Track Scotland etc the standard of driving is much better
