Street car vs car ownership
Own my MK5 Golf GTi outright, but sometimes go weeks without driving it (live in London).
Tax, Insurance and depreciation + £10k in my pocket are strong arguments for selling it and using streetcar. Anyone have any thoughts / experience?
cheers

Makes perfect sense to me.
Although I have no experience of Street Car, whatever that is.
Just googled it.... seems ok if you're happy driving around in a bland eurobox.
No doubt you could hire a better car from somewhere else for high days and holidays

Depends if you like being the 'enthusiast' owner of a car - looking after it, washing, polishing it, driving it!
If it is merely a way of getting around and you are not using it, get shot!
