Lamborghini Gallardo left me deaf
momentarily.
Driving to Leeds Bradford Airport I had a white Lamborghini Gallardo follow me like the one below. (a stunning car that deserves a picture posted)
As we approached the narrow airport tunnel he floors it. Having never been in the position to hear a super car at full throttle in a tunnel before I wound the window down to hear it in all its glory. Oh my word did I jump as he screamed past, the roar was intense, it went straight through me while the pops and crackles made me feel as though my head was about to explode. For a few seconds I couldn't hear anything other than ringing.
Just after the tunnel is a roundabout where he did a full circle to double back so I put going to the airport on hold for a while and tried to follow. Having noticed me he slowed right down allowing me to over take, soon after I pulled back over. He moved into the outside lane and hoofed it. Glorious, a sound that left me exhilarated, stimulating every fiber of whatever it is that makes men love cars and feel as though they are 10 years old again. As I pulled over to turn back around I gave him a double flash and was met with a thumbs up.
And before anyone mentions it there was no one else around and is was perfectly safe etc. Just Scooby and Lambo owners enjoying their cars.

Just think how many more runs I could do if it were cheaper.
...anyway did I complain about fuel prices?

Why choose that colour? The white looks stunning. Black, silver and black but not bright green.
As mentioned the Lambo sounded awesome and outclassed my scooby but I did double back for another go on my own. It doesnt sound half bad with nothing to show it up.

Thats what keeps things interesting. I personally dont like it. I find Lambos quite in your face as it is but having a colour to say if you didnt quite notice me first time around this will, I find tasteless. An extrovert car in an introvert colour I find classy but thats just me.

Here's one I was out in yesterday, its my bro in laws club car from the P1 Supercar Club. Lambo Gallardo LP560-4, awesome soundtrack, especially under bridges etc
ps first time using new lens & had no tripod, flash & pretty much managed to have it on all the wrong settings in the excitement of going out in the Lambo!!

I've been in some pretty fast cars but all have been modded subaru's, Fords etc and they all seemed to have a rattle from the dash board/parcel etc inside. My mates 09 Nissan GTR was the worst. Do these Supercars have annoting rattles etc or are they as you'd expect for 100k +. Trout I realise your RS will rattle like mad with all the scaffolding banging against the windows .

This one was surprisingly Germanic in its build quality inside the cabin and very easy to drive! There wasn't a sqeak or rattle from anywhere. The only odd thing was how badly the 4wd diff would cause the wheels to lock up & judder while doing slow full lock turns. I thought the Impreza Type R was bad but at least I can fully open the diff to solve it. I dont think the Lambo's diff is adjustable. Also sticking it in Sport mode was a bit strange as all it did was drop it down a gear immediately & annoyingly not change up till the revs got quite high, even in 1st & 2nd gear. Much better to use the paddles if you want to drive it hard IMO otherwise leave in normal Auto. We wer'nt brave enough to try Corsa mode, all traction controls off!!
But comparitivley the Ferrari California he took out's roof wouldnt go back up or the Aston Martin DB9 which broke down on the M25 & was a pig to drive in traffic due to led foot & hand required for clutch & gear change. But IMO nothing yet was as good as the F430 but his fave & thought was the fastest of the lot, was the 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo.

The LP560 I have to say is probably my favourite supercar...until the Mclaren comes out.
The Audo R8 is pretty solid as well, no rattles etc looks like Audi have done well.

If theres one thing thats worse than a Lime green Lambo its those revolting desperate looking Focus RSs in lime green. I mean who would buy one of those?
