Used Expensive Cars To Dive Bomb?
Labour's final present

Just wondering might be able to pick up a cheap 911 in a couple of years if the market becomes flooded with ex Company Cars
Probably more likely is they will be bought by the users I would have thought from the company. They will probably sell later as they don't like paying for the running costs
I think over a number of years it will have a correction to used car prices on the exotica?

I dont do much mileage these days and I'm hoping to move closer to work soon so the push bike will be a regular commuting tool so I'm hoping I'll pick up a bargin
Push I'll use the gf's little runabout to save the BMW for 'fun' drives

To tank it up from empty would cost over £100.
I don't do that many miles in it anyway, but any thought of getting rid would be pointless, as the selling price due to high fuel cost would be ridiculous.

I fancy getting an E46 330i £ series to replace my aging scooby.

So I can just live with the fuel consumption as I don't do alots of miles .....but hey if you " want it ", you'll just have to pay for the pleasure

i do around under 100 miles per week ....but spend at least £45+ per week on petrol (tesco 99 ron ), my car only average 16.6 mpg !!!!!! and thats driving gently around town , then again its better than my previouse M5 which was even worst @ 11.7 mpg
So I can just live with the fuel consumption as I don't do alots of miles .....but hey if you " want it ", you'll just have to pay for the pleasure

Yup, my average was 13mpg over three years in the M5. I'm now getting 30+ mpg, but the big question is whether the money I'm saving is worth not owning a 'supercar'. I'm not sure what the answer is yet, I'll let you know in a few months time

Coincidently a mate came up from the smoke on Saturday in this, just bought it on Friday for a bit of fun.
Surprisingly solid feel to it.
I did tell him it was the runt of the family – but it was actually quite pretty in the flesh, (and looked quite at home on my drive) it is the run out model so has the 348 engine and running gear.

Even though in Ferrari circles, its the bottom rung, it wont lose any money and its a pretty thing- Desirable classic cars will never lose money ( even the less desirable will hold there price).
Really need to have a "modern" for everyday though!
