Merc C250 CDI Sport - White or Black?
I'm 90% set on getting a Mercedes C250 CDI Sport in a couple of months but can't decide on colour.
The wife wants White but i'm not sure if its a bit flash. Will a White one scream "d1ckhead" or are they now common enough to get away with it.
I normally stick to Black as its a bit more discreet.
What does the Scoobynet massive think?

trust me white may look good when in the showroon .....wait till you've drove afew day with the muck from uk road and you will wish never pick it , just think about it why do all car manufacturers charge extra for black/metallic colours and no extra for white ,
it because white =Sh*t , and when the time comes to tell the car..you will have a hard time trying to sell it.
I would only buy a "white" car if i was living in japan , as they are obsess with white coloured cars .
just my 2p worth

What kind of MPG around town are you getting?
How are you finding the White with regards to keeping it clean as mentioned by others in this thread?

Is the sport the estate or just another version? One of my friends works at mclaren so gets cracking lease deals on Mercs. Last 2 years he's had the C350 estate in metallic grey and looks very nice especially compared to the BMW estates.
If saloon I do like white

The Sport is the variation of the model, i.e. SE, Sport ect....
It's the saloon i'm going for.
I'll be leasing it and there are some good deals coming through on stock cars, looking at paying no more than £340 per month inc VAT on a 3+23 deal

Black!!
Got mine about 9 weeks ago now and had the black....I too thought about the white, but with so many people going down that road it seemed to me that I'd be more different with the black....ha ha
I went for the manual box though, with the command and the 5spoke amg's...
Would post a pic - but don't have enough posts to do so....

No problem with White, it's easier to keep clean than black. Same as most colours they need cleaning regularly to keep them looking nice. The other issue I had with black was it shows every stone chip and scratch, and the minor swirls in the paint are more noticeable too.
For looking nice for the least effort, iridium silver is the colour to go for, and hides the marks and chips the best as well.

10,000 miles a year.
We have a leasing company in the family and deals come through monthly on these models for stock vehicles (i.e. at the dealerships). The cheapest in the past few months was £260 + VAT per month.
Only a few at a time come through and they go very quickly, but if anyone is interested, drop me a PM and i'll hook you up.
Oh and last month there were a few Audi A6 Avant S-line 2.0 170 TDI for around £330 inc VAT per month - bargain but I don't really like Audis
