I assume as its the 4 cyclinder 2.0 then it must just be a tuned 320d with some extra trim inside & out. No idea what you pay for those extras.

They are a tuned and fettled 2.0d engine from the BMW 123d.
Alpina add the injectors from the 335d engine, bigger turbos (x 2) and several other components to give you about 214 bhp and 50 mpg.
Suspension is a bespoke Alpina set up, as are the 19" non runflat tyres.
Exhaust system is also a bespoke Alpina one.
Interior can be as bespoke as your wallet lets you.
They cost quite a bit more than standard 3 series but I like the exclusivity, they drive and handle WAY better than any 3 series.
They're not to everyone's taste and many people can't see the value in them over a normal 3 series.
I have a Santorini blue coupe on order - should be here any day now.

I have a D3 bmono turbo-it is a cracking car. As Zip says the handling and ride ( even on 30/35 profile tyres ) is in another league over Msport 3 series.
The lack of toys is the only downside to ownership-when mine was new you had to pay a large premium to be even able to spec options !
