although the guy was clearly all fart and no poo....i mean who buys a cabriolet supercar, let alone in September!!

Let's think of the sort of cars someone might think were supercars, but were actually cabriolets.

How about a Porsche 911 Turbo?

Or maybe an Audi R8 V10?

Any others?

We talking rag top cabs? or we including spiders, retractable hardtops etc.......either way they are all sinful for burdening a performance machine with extra weight!

Worst offender for me is the F430 Scud Spider.....it looks cool, but adding the weight to make it rigid without a roof surely stands against everything that car was initially briefed to do....

There's one Spyder, although not a 'Supercar,' that is actually lighter than it's tin-top brethren and doesn't suffer scuttle shake.

And actually the lightest car in it's manufacturers whole range.....
