Saab 9-5 2.0 Turbo SE Auto Estate
Saab 9-5 SE automatic estate, 2.0 turbo petrol engine.
I purchased the car for my wife in February this year because she wanted a comfortable car with automatic transmission, it is now surplus to requirements as I have replaced it with a Jaguar S-Type.
Prior to ourselves the car has only had one owner from new, who purchased it in May 2001.
The car has been well looked after during his ownership, the service book has been stamped and there are dozens of receipts for work carried out as well as every MOT from new.
The last service was carried out at 126,913 miles, current mileage is approximately 134,000.
Specification includes, heated front seats, cruise control, air conditioning with climate control, single slot CD / radio / cassette player / CD changer, electric heated mirrors, full leather interior, electric sunroof (working and no leaks) and automatic transmission.
Interior is in very good condition for the age of the car, some minor wear on the leather but no holes or tears.
The exterior has several 'parking' dents and scratches and a small rust spot about the size of a 5p at the top of the windscreen (all of them prior to our ownership !)
Exterior colour is metallic blue with black leather interior.
No major body damage or corrosion and still looks very presentable.
The car starts first time and drives very well, with no signs of overheating.
The boot is massive and even better with the rear seats folded down.
The only points to mention are:
Engine management light comes on sometimes, it can stay one for days or go off the next time you start the car.
It does not affect how the car drives, my last 9-5 had exactly the same issue and ran for years !
There are two keys with remotes, one key has a broken key 'blade' but can be easily obtained, the message centre told me that the other key needs a replacement battery soon but still unlocking the car.
Exhaust back box is rusty, has been an advisory on the last few MOTS but does not blow and passed the last MOT.
Had the car MOT'd 17th November so now has 12 months.
Front tyres are at 3mm, rears are on 4mm.
Looking for £595 or sensible offer, I can email photos or you can view the car on Autotrader.
Please PM me for any info.
