So Suarez (or his agent) has issued an apology for refusing to shake hands.
Just wondered what the LFC fans who claimed it was Evra who refused have got to say now? |

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and manager Kenny Dalglish have apologised after Suarez refused to shake Patrice Evra's hand before Saturday's match. "I have spoken with the manager since the game at Old Trafford and I realise I got things wrong," Suarez said in a club statement. Dalglish reacted angrily to questions about the incident after the game. Use accessible player and disable flyout menus Tensions run high as Evra celebrates victory "All of us have a responsibility to represent this club in a fit and proper manner," he said on Sunday. "That applies equally to me as Liverpool manager. "When I went on TV after yesterday's game I hadn't seen what had happened, but I did not conduct myself in a way befitting of a Liverpool manager during that interview and I'd like to apologise for that." United released a statement which read: "Manchester United thanks Liverpool for the apologies issued following Saturday's game. Everyone at Old Trafford wants to move on from this. So Suarez and Dalglish apologise and say they got it wrong. At least they have finally seen sense and been big enough to accept that and apologise. Shame their fans aren't big enough to do the same. |

1. See post 1 where I said he went towards him..........and celebrated in front as he went past him, not all around him.
2. No he didn't, he celebrated in front of our fans ALL around the ground and didn't jump around as he went past where the BNP were seated. 3. Yes he has, your point? 4. No but the club condemned him and banned him internally before the FA issued their punishment, even though HE was the one receiving the disgusting abuse. You see, just like you have reacted badly it's human nature and everyone has a beaking point, and that fan deserved a drop kick:lol1: both Evra and Cantona did react, and whilst it's not acceptable it's understandable :thumb: 5. I haven't got a fat arse:D |
No wonder the fans are as bad as this, the club isn't much of a role model :(

Well that's all right then, so long as it served to "get a rise out of player", it's perfectly acceptable...

So what dirty sod gobbed on De Gea then ? :nono: Seems those "apologies" were forced by the owners, about time they got involved and sorted their staff out, had it not been for the NY Times I doubt it would have happened. |

not what i was saying at all , but in his country it isnt racist , so in his eyes he was winding him up. I'm sure there is other stuff said on the pitch that we never hear about. Rangers Vs Celtic would be an example.

Biggest load of cobblers ever - all this over a damn handshake. Media fuelled nonsense.
That aside - that gif vid - Evra's hand was open - see the position of his thumb. Suarez went in and Evra didnt take his hand away yet Suarez decided to briskly pull it away. Suprised he didnt make a gesture on the end of his nose like kids do. End of the day no one but those two know if they were going to shake hands. And only Suarez knows what he intended when he said what he said to Evra. |
funny isnt it how man u have always led the handshake at home in every game, so why was liverpool made to do it this time,, very clever,, it was all a stich up, NUFF SAID
