If its a full ss system, usually a newage will require a remap.

Might be a cat back, eg replace second cat leaving downpipe alone, or a backbox. Any 'name' on the back box at all.
If its a Revolution jobbie you can't go wrong, good 3" system for the money.

As mentioned, decent panel filter, exhaust and remap will do you well.
Could upgrade the ic to a STi one but to benefit form this you'l need the big STi scoop and splitter underneath.

Consider upgraded brakes, decent pads such as Ferodo DS2500's or Pagids RS4.2-1's with ss lines. Our good mate Alyn can sort all that:thumb:

I would as John Evolution about that Martin , he used to do a bit of shooting.

EVOLUTION 26 September 2006 11:01 PM

Andy, a serious word of warning, think long and hard about where you are going to get that serviced, i have a video of what happens to the cars in GMD's care, i will dig it out and show you, personally, though, its not going on the net.....

PS, GMD have now had 7 attempts at sorting my engine problem, and im on engine number 3, requireing number 4.

Alright martin, long time no see.

Is it only target shooting your looking at doing? never did that much myself, i was always at local farms doing vermin control really.

I will ask about for you though, check the AIRGUNNER magazine, they have a very good directory in the back, WH Smiths always keeps copies of it.

Will let you know if i find anything though:thumb:

Ninnybobs 26 September 2006 11:24 PM

Hi John,

At this moment in time it's just a bit of target shooting I am after..... although I have been asked to dispatch a few rats where we keep the GG's.

I will grab a copy of the mag tomorrow

Cheers

Martin

EVOLUTION 26 September 2006 11:35 PM

To be totally honest martin

with all of this kneejerk gun legislation that came in, alot of clubs dissapeared.

If its target shooting your looking at doing, i would be setting up my own range if you have the land. Plenty books and things out there to help you set up. The thing with any target shooting is the breathing, stance and being able to gauge the conditions and range.

I may have a few books here somewhere, my dad used to do all that rifel club stuff, he has various marksmans certs.

If you dont have the land, if you know of a farmer that does, im sure he wouldnt have a problem in giving you the space to set one up, we did at a pub. farm/ hotle near us. Solid backdrop with no chance of public access. We mainly used it for setting the sights.

Get yourself a Bi-pod and if your getting into setting the sights, i gun vice would be a good purchase.
