Supra is useless! All that power and no grip!

Pink box clutch is fine, but yeah not sure the box would like it too much. Was thinking of trying some of those blast plate reinforcements.

Genuine mitsubishi "big" TD05 16g. From an evo3. Should fit straight into my exhaust housing, compressor cover needs a little work but nothing major. Good for 360-380hp apparently. See what if looks like when it arrives.

Can you detail the process on this? Be interesting to see. :thumb:

Will the clutch not slip if you dump it at 5500 rpm?
Just put an audi box in it mate

No, it's far more grabby than stock, although I can't say I have dumped it at 5500rpm lol.

Like I said, you make the bits I need to fit it and I will :).

Try holding it at 5500 and dumping it, as you lift the clutch mind and floor the throttle.
See how it performs then lol!
I can smell it from Scotland.
Just received some goodies in the post, millers CFS 10-50, oil filter, three port boost solenoid, CV boot, and NGK PFR7b's.

The 3 port is good news , so your getting closer , and once you have that big Evo 16g on its going to be very interesting.

I have heard some not so nice things about Exedy pink / customer service recently, you might try a search on what others have to say. So I am glad I have the blue , I just took a look my "blue" clutch and although this has only been in for 17k , overall it seems to be holding up to my rabid driving. ( The depth to the rivets is shown for both sides.) and if it does slip a little bit, Im probably saving the 5spd from an earlier departure.

Attachment 19067Attachment 19068

that said , Im not going to be running >350 bhp for a while yet, the block is done, but Im still porting the heads as I mentioned to match the cast manifold

Very good Linksfahrer. Glad to hear of the progress.

My pink box is the newer anti judder item. Seems fine for the 9k or so miles its been in mine. A lot more bite than the OEM blue version, slightly heavier pedal and a bit more trans noise. Get used to it pretty quickly though.

Anti judder? I sometimes have to dip the clutch and start again because the judder is so extreme! Ha

Sometimes I have to squint when pulling away because I can't see straight

Exhaust made this morning, managed to borrow my mates ramp which made it much easier.
So I now have a full, inrestrictive 3" system from turbo to silencer. The silencer is 2.5", but I like a nice quiet system and for less than 400hp the 2.5" will be fine.
Also have a heap of goodies ready to fit for remap 👍🚙🔥🔥🔥

I like that exhaust. Had a similar exhaust on a Sierra many years ago. I think it was a Mongoose.

Adaptor plate is made from 12mm steel plate.
Shaft issue has been addressed, I'm running less angle on the shafts now by raising the suspension hieght and raising the diff hieght (both by 25mm) I am also running subaru inner and outer CV joints now, which can run more angle than the VAG ones.
The problem was bending the shafts then breaking them, rather than the torque twisting them off.
I did a few launches out and about and 6 at the dragstrip so far.

Just eBay mate. I have modified the silencer internally too for better flow.
Now running a full 3" system with the 2.5" rear silencer, not any louder than the prodrive silencer and the 2.5" system I ran before.

That's the evo compressor housing modified for subaru fitment, little bit of cutting and welding and she's all the bash.
The TD05H turbine wheel fits straight into the subaru turbine housing, so that's no problem. The only other problem I need to engineer round is the banjo bolt size, M12 instead of M10.

Finished article with actuator mounts and 2" hose outlet, shortened inlet too, will be a direct replacement for the turbo I am running.
