Fecking love all this banter, the sport section is back wahoo:luxhello:

I really dont know whats going to happen tonight, I think we'll either scrape a one nil win or they could get three or four. I'd love Fergie to give Macheada or Diouf a go, they will certainly give more than Berbatov:rolleyes:

STi wanna Subaru 07 April 2010 10:20 AM

apprehensive about United tonight. They've spluttered through this season and only really played one big game well. I think they'll need to score 3 as well to progress which without Rooney seems a big ask. I'm just hoping OG plays tonight as he's been their 2nd best player this season.

STi wanna Subaru 07 April 2010 02:39 PM

to add also.....for once it's nice to know the whole nation is watching and cheering on United to win. It's very rare it happens but effectively tonight it's England United

But you're just a sore loser because you're team aren't in the competition - they're not in it next year either come to think of it ;)

More_Boost 07 April 2010 03:18 PM

Rumours on skysports still circulating that Rooney may start from the Bench,it should be a good match no matter what. :thumb:

urban 07 April 2010 03:45 PM

Maybe Fergie will put him on the bench to try to lift the belief even more?

I can't see him being played - as we've got what another 5 premiership games?

Gav 07 April 2010 04:53 PM

I think they would be silly to play him and possibly do more damage. Like you say Urban it'll be to boost morale a bit more if nothing else:)

:Suspiciou

FlightMan 07 April 2010 05:52 PM

How does having an injured player sitting on the bench "boost" morale?

If he's fit, he plays, if he's not he doesn't. Unless your happy for him to miss the rest of the season and blow your title chances?

The time will have to be next season to see if Arsenal can "do" Chelsea

I am so gutted - I was offered a pair of VIP tickets for tonight and could find no-one to go with at short notice!!

Nail-biting stuff!

Trout 07 April 2010 09:01 PM

Pants!

davyboy 07 April 2010 09:31 PM

FlightMan 07 April 2010 09:39 PM

Out of the CL, and Rooney out for what, another 2 weeks? Is Utd's season over?

Trout 07 April 2010 09:43 PM

No,the EPL is still tight and with some big games left.

davyboy 07 April 2010 09:48 PM

LOL @ Fergie saying about Germans getting them sent off by running to the ref. Of course united have never done this...hahaha!

Short memory some people.

NAF 07 April 2010 09:51 PM

FlightMan 07 April 2010 09:51 PM

But with Rooney out? Big decision to play him tonight, he obviously wasn't 100%. It's backfired IMHO.

Fergie obviously doesn't fancy Berbatov, despite spending what, £30,000,000 on him?

Agreed, as long as Rooney is fit for the City game on the 17th. Can't see him being out for long although he never looked right from kick off, bench on saturday i would say.

That goal killed us befor half time and thought at that point they'd score again, but i fancied us to score more. Rafael constantly pulls players back when they get past, and it was a shame as he was brilliant tonight until then.

We never looked like we could really go all the way this season and it will take something special to beat Barca.

Where's Ronaldo ya gone, where's ya Ronaldo gone....

davyboy 07 April 2010 09:56 PM

Berbatov is lazy. Sell him and buy Robben and Ribery.

..whats this on ITV, wonky nose analysts?
